TIG Welding

  1. Just wondering if that $1 per in. and $1 per tack covers your consumables, etc. At $20 per pc. and 50 pcs. equals $1000 and thinking it takes 10 minutes per pc. including set ups. That figures to a total of less than 9 hours, that’s over $100 per hour. But then you have consumables, rent, electric, argon and rods. Seems like a fair price to me for that quality of work.

  2. What is duplex welding.

    • Never heard of duplex welding, however I have TIG welded duplex stainless steel, I believe this is what you meant.
Just Google the term and you’ll have a wealth of knowledge to consume

  3. Great video. I just asked about feeding rod and here we are! I have been practicing the same method that you use. I’m sure I will get better. Thanks for all your help.

What do you think of the everlast machine?
Some reviews said the pedal and torch are of poor quality. I am thinking of replacing mt HTP 200 unit in the near future have a budget of $2K or less. Thanks for you input.
