If a 6G welding test is standing between you and a good paycheck, pay attention… This video is for you.
A common pipe welding test is a 6 inch tig root and hot pass with a stick 7018 fill and cap.
If you can get the root in right, it gets easier after that.
This video shows tips for laying the wire in the gap and then scooting forward and backward to achieve some good penetration.

The part where you are counting was a big help as Im a counter for hand movements. Your shows are a good source of information you take pride in your work as well big part of the weld
