I am curious how the vertical down and up technique changes things. I should do it myself but, you are so good at it! OK, a little welder manipulation right?!

Jody, What about uphill where you quickly run over the center of the joint?

Beyond your obvious skills with the torch and your gift for teaching, you are a very well spoken man.
You should do motivational speeches.
Or Discovery should do a show on welders with you hosting. You deserve to be rich and famous more than half the people who are.
