You have mentioned some tests do not allow any oscillations, requiring only straight stringers. Why? Is a stringer stronger or something like that? Guess I am really asking why the engineering folks would be requiring only a stringer in the first place.
Thanks – great videos!
Jody I was alway told to drag/slag and I see you pushing? I don’t do stick welding, but just asking why? I was always told to push Mig and Tig and again I see you dragging Mig? My friend is a professional welder and he says he always drags his Mig welds!!! I agree your Mig welds dragging look like TIG!!!!!! I have all top of the line Miller welders, but really don’t use them much as I really don’t have a need much. I build Street Rods, but at 72 I’m slowing down some!!!!!
retired, never worked as a welder just hobby fixit kinda stuff but I’ve got an AA in welding at Pierce college(when they had a program)Doh! Your welding videos are great and I bought some tig fingers to make a tiny bump in your bottom line.Plan to buy some videos and tig stuff from your store for my welding collection. You are a fine person for trying to help young guys get a job, keep up the good work ! Dave
