I am looking to get my first welder and this is the one I was looking at. I have just over a grand saved. I am waiting to see the next video on the mig process. Thanks for the great site.
I believe that this is a DC only machine. If you are interested in TIG aluminum, I’m not sure that this machine will do the trick?? I have an Eastwood 200 TIG that does a great job and is well below the $1000 budget. It does a pretty good job but lacks the adjustable frequency that does a little better high tech/pretty welds for Stainless and Aluminum. 60 hz only on the output for AC and straight DC. Look up Eastwood on the web.
