Quick question: Why go through the expense of using all that filler rod to build up the tab? Why not weld the tab back on using the same process and filler rod (a lot less filler rod). Double Bevel the part or, if possible, double V-Groove the break and al – bronze the joint. Time?
thank you, jody just closed my auto repair shop of 28years and retired! hoping to do more welding than fixing exhausts etc. like putting a new bed on my pick up. Thanks again, Steve
