What is the best all around water cooled tig torch on the market?

I think it just might be this flex loc tig torch made by CK worldwide.

Why? because of the endless possibilities of torch angles and swappable heads that accept gas lenses and stubby nozzles and the like.

Need a backwards angle for welding the back side of a hard to reach tube? no problem.

How about reaching inside the end of a piece of square tubing 6 inches to weld a stiffener plate? no problem.

I found this torch to be pretty much the most useful torch I have ever used.

It looks kinda funny but dont let that stop you from giving it a try.

When your helmet is flipped down, all you can see is the arc anyway so it looks and feels like any other torch except for being able to get the perfect angle.

Pipe welders and boilermakers use a technique called “walking the cup” but with a flimsy flex head, that technique doesnt work very well.

That’s where this torch shines. Once you set the torch angle, you can lock it in place and cup walking is a breeze.

I got hold of the water cooled tig torch flex loc as well as a gas cooled model and both exceeded my expectations. I started thinking back to all the tig jobs I have done in the past where this torch would have made things easier.

Oh well…I dont look in the rear view mirror very often..so I will just drive forward using this new torch and be happy.

Jody, Great video’s I’m new to welding,How to you hook up a liquid cooled torch? What is it’s water source, is it a constant flow through the rig? I don’t have a inverter machine yet, but planning on getting one. I’ve got a tig finger though.

We have some great products here at work from ck already, i thteaten everyone not to ruin my ck 200 flex torch since it’s the only one in house and I end up doing a lot of the random repair work. I’ll have to try and butter them up to get one of these to test out!
