This week’s video is the final segment on fabricating those carts using the precision welding table and tooling. The tops are made from stainless angle iron and the sheet metal is just 14 ga hot rolled steel.
The horizontal band saw was stuck so I had to cut the stainless mitre joints with a cutting wheel and grinder… A cheap 4 1/2″ angle grinder that I bought from Harbor Freight to get me by while my Dewalt was on loan to a friend.
I learned the hard way how dangerous a cheap grinder can be.
And as always, feel free to visit us at our sister site, weldingtipsandtricks.com.

Sorry to hear about the neck injury!
Great safety tip!! Myself, I have been using this style grinder almost as long as I’ve been MARRIED without incident. I do, however have SEVERAL scars on my neck where (because I am married,)I tried to bite through my own jugular vein….
