The Clutter Catcher, Plasma Cutting, and Back Step Stick Welding

A while back I posted some video showing a quick and easy way to make a portable bandsaw stand and I got several emails telling me that SWAGoffroad.com sells a ready made stand.

So I checked it out at swagoffroad.com.

I contacted Troy from SWAG off road and wound up with another one of his products called the “Clutter Catcher”.

It’s a very well designed and heavy duty way to organize tools on a welding table or workbench.

All the tools you get out in the course of fabricating something can get out of hand. Vise grip clamps screwdrivers mig welding pliers wire cutters air tools sharpie markers wire brush tape measure hammer 3 angle grinders and a whole lot more can be stored in easy reach.

I am not the neatest or most organized guy on the planet so I found it extremely helpful.

Pretty soon I will be featuring another simple but innovative circle cutter attachment from SWAG …stay tuned.

And as always, feel free to visit us at our sister site, weldingtipsandtricks.com.

  1. I call em wobble rods Jodie. When I built my 68 Triumph custom motorcycle I used the SS electrodes as stick was the only form of welding I cld afford. I would cut them in half for better control. I was very impressed like you were of these staunch little buggers.
Love your personality for an American Jodi. You’ll be seeing my $$. Thank you kindly mate for making my welding better at work after 30 yrs on/off. My original boss and mate meant not to teach me as much as him for obvious reasons, I always teach younguns all I know because of that and that’s why profusely thank you for sharing yr skills Jodie.

  2. I am a retired carpenter. Soon I will return to restoration of my 1972 Ford E-350 Hi-Top camper van.
I have been stocking up on tools such as you hung in that holder from Swagoffroad. The double-door headers on the van are my starting point; they are weak as French bread and just as holy. With many spot welds to cut to get the rotten headers out I bought a Blaire cutter. It skates all over the place. How can I get it to stay where I need it? Center punching the weld spot did not work.

I have been through your library of videos and found them interesting and informative. Thank you,
    Old Mack.

  3. Thanks a lot Jody. I love what you’re doing, I guess lots of us here & there really appreciate what your website is doing. You’ve helped me a lot. And by the way, thank you for your tip, the last time I requested. I passed the trade test last year & now, hopefully I’m going to another country to work there, together with my family. Thank you and best of health to you and your family.

  4. Hi Jody;
I bought the Clutter Eliminator from Troy at swagoffroad.com as well as his 20Ton Press Brake.

I painted my Clutter Eliminator Blue to match my already Miller Blue welding table. I don’t know if that was a mistake to paint it.

Troy has some very innovative products and I highly recommend them.

Keep up the great videos Jody. I enjoy each and every one.
