Hi jody
Just a quick note to say thanks for all the videos you have posted over the years. I was unemployed and started to watch your videos. Now I have passed codes in arc welding . i am self employed doing light fabrication and onsite farm repairs.
Best job I have ever had
Thank you once again for the help and support you give in the videos with your dedication and generousity many people have been able to improve all aspects of their work from beginners to professional people. You are a true inspiration to people like us
Thank you
Jody –
Have enjoyed your channel over the years and have gotten all the annual sets.
The comment I have is with your fascination with dual shield flux core. I do not believe you have ever said “exactly” what dual shield process is? I surmise that it is running a gas (argon? CO2?, Mix?) with a flux core wire. And I suspect it is nothing more than having a gas on and using a flux core wire? It might help newbies that when you do a dual shield article, you take a moment to remind or for first-timers, inform what dual shield is – just a quickie note.
BTW – love the tig fingers and am really happy you made a big one for those of us who have fat fingers.
Keep up the videos, we use you as a reference when members of our group, Chesapeake Area Metalworkers Society (CAMS) ask about welding issues and need to learn welding.
