Parts used for tooling often require a black oxide finish.
After these parts were tig welded, they were bead blasted, and then coated with black oxide.
That begins with a boiling degreaser, then rinse water, then black oxide coating, then rinse again, and then a penetrating oil followed by an oven bake.

1. I had to get a simple fixture to locate the fuel injector bungs so that they would fit to the fuel rail.
2. its handy to have a few drill press vises to hold odd shaped parts.
3. if you have a gap in aluminum sheet, sometimes it helps to do a cold pass and follow it up with a penetration pass.
